We’re Brian & Michelle, partners in life and business, who got laid off from the tech industry in 2024, had a baby, and decided to start something completely different.
AI4Rookies was born from our kitchen table (and sleep-deprived late nights) with one simple idea: AI should feel easy. Not overwhelming. Not corporate. Not “built for engineers only.” Just… helpful.
Let’s get something out of the way:
You don’t need to be a tech genius to start using AI. You don’t need to “master” prompt engineering. And you definitely don’t need to read a 90-page whitepaper just to figure out how to write a blog post with ChatGPT.
That’s where AI4Rookies comes in.
We built this space for curious beginners, creators, solopreneurs, and teams who want to use AI to do actual things—write faster, design smarter, save time, and automate the boring stuff.

We’re not just figuring this out—we’ve been in it.
Before we built AI4Rookies, we spent over a decade working in tech, design, IT, and business strategy. We’ve helped companies launch products, build brands, streamline operations, and run creative campaigns.
Michelle has a background in IT project management, photography, and graphic design. She’s led branding, system design, and creative strategy for small businesses and startups—and she’s especially good at turning tech into workflows that actually make sense.
Brian has worked in business development and consulting for years, helping teams grow through lean strategy, partnerships, and operations. He’s the “how it works” to Michelle’s “how it looks.”
In 2024, after we were both laid off from the tech industry, we decided to build something that reflects our values:
